Fast ForWord Reading Intervention

Fast ForWord® is a computerized reading intervention that uses the principles of neuroplasticity to make fast, permanent changes to your child’s brain – which will make reading and learning (in all subjects) much easier for your child. Fast ForWord helps children pay attention longer, process information faster, and comprehend what they’re reading. Many parents see results in their child in as little as 8 weeks. Fast ForWord Home service combines the power of Fast ForWord with weekly check-ins directly with Dr. McLean.

Clinical populations that are appropriate for Fast ForWord are children older than age 5, and who have been or could be diagnosed with any of the following:

• Specific language impairment
• Specific learning disability
• Autism, Asperger’s, PDD-NOS
• Dyslexia
• ADHD/ADD
• Central Auditory Processing Disorder
• Hearing impairment: children with hearing aids or cochlear implants
• Writing and reading weakness
• General academic weakness

Fast ForWord is different from other reading intervention because the product was designed by neuroscientists who are experts in how the brain learns.  The Fast ForWord® program is based on over 30 years of research into how the brain learns.

Each learner using the Fast ForWord program is placed at the right starting level and then follows a learning path that ensures they get the individualized instruction they need.
